He puts his finger on something profoundly true.
When we dream of warm beaches or snow-capped mountains, pack our bags, and book flights, we often invest an incredible amount of time and energy into creating the perfect vacation.
When it comes to reflecting on our lives as a whole, we sometimes seem more passive.
But when a new year begins, we get a natural pause for reflection.
My reflection on 2024 is that it has been a year of strong contrasts between light and shadow.
So the past year has reminded me of life’s unpredictability.
Not everything is within our control, but as long as we’re with the right people, we can handle anything. We’re all on this journey together.
